From Jan 17 to March 27th UT Martin will be competing in a N ational Recycling contest. This is our third year and we strive to beat UTK . You can help out by increasing you recycling efforts on campus. \;On Saturday Feb. 20\, organizations are encouraged to bring their recycled go od (plastic\, paper\, cardboard\, aluminum\, steel\, glass) to the recycle facility to be weighed and entered into our competition. The group or organ ization that brings in the most will win a super prize.

Monday + Tuesday from 10:30am-12:30pm. \;We will have a booth outside of the cafeteria in the UC to sell crates of coke products\, 24 twenty ounce sodas for $19. \;

It is basically a bunch of students getting together who are concerned abo ut the direction that our country is heading and would like to correct the injustices we are currently facing. \;

PRISM or the Paranormal Research and Investigaton Society of Martin is a Professional Organization who is interested in all things re lated to the world of the paranormal. Eventhough this is a college based gr oup we do accept people in the community.

They investigate claim s of paranromal activity and are highly involded in the community at large in the surrounding area of Martin\, Union CIty\, Dresden\, and South Fulton .

Don't want to investigate and just interested in attending our paranormal topic driven meetings every Sunday from 6-8pm? We'd love to hav e you after alll proving life after death isn't easy..

\n Luther Mercer II is an educator and coordinates g lobal education for St. Georges\, an Independent School in Collierville\, a nd is adjunct faculty member at Bethel College. \;

\n A J ackson TN native\, he was a graduate of Northside High School and later att ended Tennessee Technological University earning a degree in political scie nce. He continued his education at Cecil C. Humphrey School of Law in Memph is earning his juris doctorate\, where he studied abroad in Egypt exploring issues surrounding international and Islamic law. He later taught English in China while earning a certificate in Chinese language and culture from B eijing University.

\n Upon his return to the U.S.\, he served as director of multicultural affairs for the University of Tennessee at Ma rtin and served as a Senior Fellow for the National Institute for Law and E quity. \;

\n His mother is long-time political activist S hirlene Mercer\, who served for more than 20 years as Congressman John Tann er&rsquo\;s district field director\, and his father\, Luther Mercer\, is a Madison County commissioner.
